Race car prodigy Dylan Kwasniewski, 17, is the focus of the 10-episode “Flat Out, ” which will premiere this fall on the company's premium video platform.

Dylan Kwasniewski, a 17-year-old driving on a NASCAR minor-league circuit, will star in a 10-episode docuseries to premiere this fall on AOL On Network, the online company’s premium video platform and curated video hub.

The series, Flat Out, produced by NASCAR and Vuguru, was among the new shows unveiled Tuesday by AOL at the Digital Content NewFronts in New York.

A native of Las Vegas, Kwasniewski competes for Turner Scott Motorsports on NASCAR’s regional K&N Pro Series East circuit. Many of its drivers hope to gain enough experience to graduate to the top-tier Sprint Cup Series, home to such star drivers as Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon.

The unscripted Flat Out will follow the race car prodigy as he finishes his senior year of high school and balances family, school, friends and newfound celebrity away from the track.

Kwasniewski started racing go-karts in 2000 at age 5 and last year became the youngest driver to win the Pro Series West championship. He turns 18 in June.

Flat Out is a product of NASCAR’s Entertainment Marketing Division. Based in Los Angeles, it aims to integrate the sport of stock car racing into mainstream pop culture in an effort to reach new fans.

“There are so many great stories within NASCAR, but Dylan’s stands out, ” said Zane Stoddard, NASCAR vp entertainment marketing and business development. “It’s hard to find someone with a more unique and inspiring life, let alone a 17-year-old, and we think Flat Out will appeal to a very broad audience.”

Vuguru, founded by Michael Eisner’s Tornante Co. and backed by Canada’s Rogers Media, develops, finances and licenses premium scripted content to a global set of distribution partners. Flat Out is Vuguru’s first nonscripted original production.

"ATLANTA (UPS). The FBI is investigating NASCAR officials in three states, alleging Mafia ties and betting scandals. A spokesman for the Bureau explained that NASCAR officials would call bogus cautions during races that were being led by the wrong car. "Most NASCAR fans are so drunk, they can't tell if there's really debris on the track or not", said Christopher Tucker, speaking on condition of anonimity. "So, if a driver the officials didn't bet on is ahead, they just call a bogus caution. Sometimes, they even raise the Threat Level to Puce."
Several NASCAR fans said they weren't sure what 'debris' was. One thought it was a circumsion ceremony.
